Registration may be required at work, in the clinic, and the law enforcement officers are not asleep - and the absence of a registration certificate can cause serious trouble.

Step 1
There are plenty of companies that offer you to register in Moscow in just one day and a few hundred rubles. Some of them are engaged in falsification of documents, some actually take money for mediation with the Federal Migration Service and homeowners. But in any case, it is better not to use their services and register yourself.
Step 2
In order to register in Moscow, the main thing is to agree with the owner of the property on the consent that you register on his area. This can be the owner of the apartment you are renting (the best option), your friend or relative. Nobody will check the fact of your residence at the place of registration, you do not have any rights to housing - so the owners of the apartment are not in danger.
Step 3
In order to register in Moscow, you must submit to the district department of the FMS your application for registration, an application from the landlord with a request to register you, as well as your passport. In addition, if an apartment or room has several adult owners (for municipal housing - tenants), then all of them must record their consent in writing.
Step 4
You must issue a temporary registration with the FMS within three days. The registration certificate will be issued for the period that you indicated in your application (from six months to five years).
