Documents for filing an application for marriage

In order for the registry office employees to accept the application for marriage, the bride and groom must bring their civil passports with them. Moreover, one of them must have a residence permit in the area where the registry office is located. Nonresidents can apply only to certain registry offices, or register. An application from a foreigner can only be accepted if he has registration in the required area. In addition, you must pay the state fee for the registration of marriage and bring the receipt to the registry office.

A month is given for reflection in the registry office. If you need to sign earlier, you can bring a pregnancy certificate, a summons from the military registration and enlistment office or other documents confirming that one of the future newlyweds cannot wait for the due date.

Documents for obtaining a birth certificate

A birth certificate can be obtained within one month from the date of birth of a child. It is issued only to the registry office at the place of registration of one of the parents. You need to have a certificate from the maternity hospital, a passport and a marriage certificate with you. In the event that the child does not officially have a father, the mother is not married, a dash is put in the required column in the birth certificate. If there is a dad, but the marriage is not registered, an act establishing paternity is drawn up in the registry office. Both parents must be present during the procedure.

You can get a birth certificate for a child even later than a month later, this does not threaten anything. But without it, it is impossible to register the child at the place of residence, and here the delay will result in a fine.

Divorce filing documents

According to the law, the application for divorce is submitted by the spouses jointly, at the registry office at the place of registration of one of them. They need to have their passports with them. But there are also exceptions. The registry office employees can accept an application from one of the spouses if he provides:

- notarized divorce statement from the second spouse;

- a certificate of incapacity of the spouse who was not present at the filing of the application, confirmed by a court decision;

- recognition of the second spouse as missing by a court decision;

- a verdict for the conviction of a spouse who is not present for a term of imprisonment of three years or more.

If the spouses have children together, divorce most often takes place through a court. In this case, a statement of claim is filed, a certificate of marriage and birth of a child is provided.

In addition to the listed documents, you need to bring a receipt for payment of the divorce fee.

Documents for obtaining a death certificate

A death certificate is issued at the registry office of the district where the deceased person was registered. To issue a document, you will need his passport and death certificate. Also, the person who applies for the certificate must have a civil passport. The passport of the deceased and the certificate are taken by the registry office officer, and a death certificate is issued in return.
