  • - passport with a notarized translation into Russian;
  • - migration card with marks about crossing the border and registration with migration registration;
  • - conclusion on the state of health;
  • - photos;
  • - money.

Instructions

Step 1

First you need to find the address where you can register for migration. The easiest way is if this is your own apartment (house) or housing belonging to relatives, friends or acquaintances.

There are chances to get registered with the migration register in rented housing, but often its owners refuse to do so.

A home owner or any tenant who has permanent registration in it is required to contact the FMS or the post office with his passport, a foreigner's passport, in the absence of a Russian version - notarized, and a migration card and their copies and fill out an application.

If a foreigner plans to find a job in Russia, his profession must be indicated in the migration card and migration registration coupon.

Step 2

A foreigner must apply to the Federal Migration Service with a mark on migration registration. He will need to fill out an application, the form of which will be given in the unit where he is registered with the migration register (there are also posted on the stands and samples of filling), take a picture, go through a medical examination, pay state fees.

The size of the fee, details for its payment and requirements for photographs, as well as the addresses of medical institutions where you can undergo a medical examination, will be prompted by the FMS department. They are usually displayed on stands there as well.

Step 3

The medical commission assumes visits to narcological, neuropsychiatric and venereal dispensaries. In the latter, you will also have to donate blood for AIDS. With the results of the analysis and certificates that the foreigner is not registered anywhere, it is necessary to visit the territorial health department, where, on the basis of these documents, a conclusion will be issued on the state of health of the foreigner.

Step 4

After receiving a complete set of documents, the FMS subdivision will issue a work permit to the foreigner within 10 days. It is really no more than a year and within the limits of only the subject of the Federation in which it was issued. When you move to another, you will have to register everything anew. It also gives the right to work only in the profession specified in it.

With a permit in hand, a foreigner has the right to look for work in the usual way: to study offers on the labor market, respond to vacancies by sending resumes and phone calls, undergoing interviews, etc.

He can and should be formalized for work, with the payment of all taxes and social security contributions.
