The Federal Tax Service is trying to introduce new technologies, including in the area of contacts with taxpayers. For example, this is expressed in the fact that now there is an opportunity to submit a declaration via the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out if you are the type of person who needs to file a tax return. This must be done by individual entrepreneurs, even if they did not have income this year. Also, the relevant document is filled out by persons engaged in private practice - lawyers, notaries, tutors. Taxes will have to be paid for those who won the lottery, as well as for the majority of people who have received an inheritance or a gift drawn up in a special agreement.
Step 2
Get a special electronic signature key, thanks to which you can certify documents. To do this, contact the branch of the Federal Tax Service - FTS - at your place of residence.
Step 3
Install a special program for preparing electronic reporting, including tax returns. You can download it on the FTS website after receiving the digital signature.
Step 4
In the program, indicate the same data that traditionally appear in the paper form of the questionnaire. This is your last name, first name and patronymic, citizenship, individual tax number, place of registration. In the column on income, you must mention all funds received by you, from professional or other activities, that have not yet been taxed. Also complete the section on tax deductions. Their list is very wide and affects, for example, those who, during the tax period, purchased real estate or paid for their education or the education of their children. Prepare your declaration by April 30th, as this is the deadline for sending documents.
Step 5
Send the documents provided with the electronic signature code to the tax office. This is done using a special portal for submitting tax reports created by the Federal Tax Service. At the same time, first check whether your computer from which you plan to send the declaration complies with the technical standards of the service. The computer must be running a Windows operating system along with Internet Explorer.
