After buying an apartment and registering property rights, you must register the property in the BTI in your name. In the cadastral passport, the fact of the transfer of ownership is recorded and the new name of the owner of the property is entered.

Instructions
Step 1
Contact the BTI with the documents and write a statement about changing the name of the owner of the apartment in the cadastral passport. This must be done immediately after registration of property rights. Attach your identity document, purchase fact and proof of ownership. All homeowners must apply in person except for minor children. If it is impossible to apply personally, you can act on behalf of the owners on the basis of a notarized power of attorney. The fact of the transaction and the transfer of ownership will be recorded and the name or names of the owners will be changed in the cadastral passport for the apartment.
Step 2
You do not need to apply to the tax authorities to register your property. The BTI service and the state registration center must do this for you. The deadline for notifying the tax service about a change in ownership of real estate is 10 days. You will be sent a registered mail notification that the change of ownership has been fixed and taxes for the apartment will be sent to your name. If you sell an apartment, based on a message from the same services, taxes for real estate will be stopped.
Step 3
Notify the housing department and the company supplying electricity about the purchase of an apartment and its registration in your name. The rent will be sent in your name and according to the composition of your family. The subscriber department of the energy supply company will supply an account for the change in the owner's apartment and conclude a contract with you for the supply of electricity.
