Salary is the most important clause of a bilateral employment contract. Any changes to it must be agreed between the employee and the employer. The order of all changes is specified in Articles 134 and 135 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. The legislator submits to the employer for consideration when and how much he will increase wages and what justification for this will be indicated in the order.
Necessary
- - 2 months written notice;
- - additional agreement to the employment contract;
- - order T-5;
- - entering information into the T-2 card;
- - entry in the work book (if the title of the position has changed);
- - notification to the accounting department.
Instructions
Step 1
To increase your salary, write a written notice 2 months before the fact of the increase. Introduce it to all employees who will receive a salary increase.
Step 2
After the period specified in the notification, complete an additional agreement to the employment contract. In the agreement, indicate all the clauses that should be considered invalid in the main contract, and describe in detail the new terms of payment. If, due to the increase in wages, the employee's labor functions change, then this paragraph should also be included in the supplementary agreement (Article 72 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).
Step 3
Issue an order form T-5. In the order, indicate the full name of the employee, the number of the department or structural unit, the date, month and year of the salary increase, the grounds for the increase. In the grounds, you can indicate indexation in connection with inflation (article 134 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation), advanced training, promotion, obtaining a diploma, etc. Write on a separate line how much the salary has been increased. If the basis is inflation, then indicate the amount as a percentage; in all other cases, you can indicate both the percentage of the previous wage level, and the figure in hard monetary equivalent. Also, in the order, indicate what salary has become since the increase.
Step 4
Familiarize the employee with the order against receipt. Submit a notice to the accounting department to make changes when calculating the salary.
Step 5
Give the order to the HR department. On its basis, the inspector will make changes to the employee's personal card of the T-2 form. If the position is changed, then changes are also made to the work book indicating the date, month and year, the new position name and the basis for the transfer. To make an entry in the work book, the basis is the order of the head of the enterprise.
Step 6
If the work functions of an employee are changed, then you must present him with new job descriptions.
