All entries in work books are made on the basis of orders. The rules for keeping books are regulated by the "Instructions for filling out work books" approved by the Decree of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation dated 10.10.2003 No. 69 and "Rules for maintaining and storing work books, making forms of work books and providing employers with them", approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 16.04.2003 No. 225.

Step 1

If you transfer an employee to another position or to another structural unit, you need to make a corresponding entry in the work book. According to the law, the transfer of an employee is possible only with his written consent.

Step 2

Get a statement from the employee about his consent to the transfer, on this basis, the personnel department needs to issue an order. The form of the order was approved by the decree of the State Statistics Committee of the Russian Federation dated January 5, 2004 No. 1 "On the approval of unified forms of primary accounting documentation for labor accounting and remuneration."

Step 3

When changing work duties, for example, in the case of an employee's promotion, the following entry is made in the book: "Transferred to a position …", if both responsibilities and structural unit change - "Transferred to a department (department, workshop, etc.) … to position …".

Step 4

Enter the name of the position indicating qualifications according to the staffing table. The transfer record must contain instructions where and by whom the employee was accepted, do not write about the probationary period.

Step 5

Familiarize the employee with the transfer entry entered in the work book. The fact of familiarization will be his signature on the personal card opposite the number and date of the transfer order.
