List of public places

The main purpose of the Law restricting the consumption of alcoholic beverages is to promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as to raise the level of culture of consumption of alcoholic beverages. According to the requirements of this Law, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are prohibited for consumption:

- in the premises of self-government bodies and public authorities;

- in educational institutions and sports grounds;

- in cultural and health care institutions;

- in public transport.

Also, among the places where the use of low alcohol and alcoholic beverages is prohibited, there are payphones and elevators.

Where is it forbidden to sell alcoholic beverages and what are the age restrictions

The sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 21 is prohibited. In connection with the increasing cases of the sale of alcohol-containing beverages in premises not provided for these purposes, it is not allowed to sell these goods by hand, in places where children's goods are sold, on the territory of educational institutions.

Changes have been made to the articles of the Law regulating alcohol consumption at the time of mass events.

The reason for bringing to administrative responsibility is drinking alcoholic beverages and beer in parks, squares and on the street, as well as being drunk in public places, which entails the commission of actions that offend honor and dignity.

Drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited at work, in the premises of organizations and institutions. The law provides for a warning or imposition of a fine on citizens who consume alcohol in the workplace.

What are we drinking?

The legality of the use of these drinks depends on the percentage of alcohol in it, i.e. fortress. If the product contains less than 12% ethyl alcohol, it is classified as low-alcoholic beverages, and with an alcohol content of more than 12%, it is an alcoholic product. Low alcohol products are prohibited to be consumed in all types of public transport and children's, educational and medical organizations. The list of places where you cannot drink strong drinks is even wider.

You can appreciate the dignity of sparkling wine or aromatic cognac in restaurants, bars and other specially designated places. Due to the increased incidence of hooliganism on board aircraft, it is prohibited to consume cognac and whiskey on board. This does not apply to beer. As for the use of alcohol in nature, the question is controversial. The law does not define the status of places on the banks of rivers, lakes and other territories. But a picnic with drinking alcohol on the territory of recreation centers or a park is an offense. Drunk driving is a grave offense today. And it doesn't matter if the car is in motion or not. Also, the fine will have to be paid to parents whose children drink alcohol.
