All male citizens between the ages of 18 and 27 in our country are liable for military service. This is what the regulation on military registration of November 27, 2006 says. But when the draft age is over, it's time to take care of getting a military ID. What do you need to obtain a document and what pitfalls can lie in wait for you in the process of solving this important issue?
Necessary
- The passport
- Attribution certificate
- Photos 3 pcs
- Application (written in the military registration and enlistment office)
Instructions
Step 1
If you are a law-abiding citizen and have escaped all the hardships of military service on legal grounds, then you have absolutely nothing to fear, and you can safely go to the military registration and enlistment office. The first thing you may encounter there is unfriendly words addressed to you and a complete reluctance to deal with your question. The officers of the commissariat believe that they lost a lot of time trying to "recruit" you for military service and now you have to do the same. Of course, their actions are not legal, but there is no escape from the human factor, so please be patient. Apply for the issuance of a military ID in writing and preferably in duplicate. The employees of the military registration and enlistment office must register it. Take one copy with the signature of the receiving person and the date, so that you have something to refer to if the procedure is delayed.
Step 2
You may need to send such a statement by certified mail, with notice that it has been served on the addressee. And if the case comes to court (and this happens), you will have an extra trump card. If all your actions did not have any result, contact the military prosecutor's office.
Step 3
If you have a sin behind you, things can take a bad turn. If your draft age has already expired, of course, they will not take you into the army, but they will spoil your nerves. Everything here will depend on many circumstances. You can get off with a fine, but the case can come to criminal liability. The validity period for these offenses is 2 years. In general, the proceedings in these cases usually drag on for a very long time and in the end it can be very difficult to prove anything. Usually, after talking with the investigator, the case is closed.
