Where can I apply for subsidies?
A special division of the Ministry of Defense, which is called the Department of Housing, deals with the provision of housing for military personnel, military pensioners. It is to the territorial body of the said Department that one should apply for the purpose of using one of the forms of housing provision, including obtaining a housing subsidy. Subject to the submission of all the necessary documents, the military pensioner is included in a special register, after which, in order of priority, he will be provided with a housing certificate giving him the right to use the housing subsidy. The specified certificate can be used independently, add personal funds, maternity capital or a mortgage loan to it. The amount of payment is set individually, depending on the region in which housing is purchased, the number of family members of a military pensioner, his military rank.
What documents are required to apply for a subsidy?
The list of documents that will need to be collected and submitted to a military pensioner in order to receive a housing subsidy or use another form of housing provision is given on the official website of the Ministry of Defense. The specified list includes documents proving the identity of the pensioner, his family members, documents on the conclusion, divorce, information on the presence of other residential premises owned or rented, documents to confirm the rights to additional guarantees in terms of providing housing. At the same time, a military pensioner can independently choose the place of acquiring housing with subsidies, the type of living quarters (house or apartment).
