Step 1
Before buying a weapon for self-defense, you need to study the relevant laws on weapons, articles of the Criminal Code of Russia, as well as the rules for storing, carrying and using a pistol, knowledge of which will be required when writing a statement at the place of residence of the future owner of a "trauma".
Step 2
For the permitting department of the ATC authorities, an application will be needed written in a certain form with the obligatory indication of passport data, as well as information about the applicant, such as the address of registration and actual residence, marital status, data on the presence / absence of a criminal record, etc.
You will need photocopies of your passport, as well as 4 photographs of a standard size 3 by 4 cm.
Step 3
A medical certificate in the standard form 046 can be obtained both in the local district and in a private licensed polyclinic where a special medical commission works, however, in order to issue it, the specialists of the institution will definitely require official certificates issued by the neuropsychiatric and narcological dispensary about the health of the applicant for this type of document client.
Step 4

Step 5
After the adoption of the above list of the document and ten days of consideration of the written application, the applicant is entitled to issue a license to store and purchase weapons for self-defense, after receiving which and successfully passing the exam on knowledge of the previously mentioned rules and laws, you can safely go to a specialized store to buy OS.
Step 6
The purchased pistol must be registered immediately (within the next two weeks after purchase) at the licensed department of the Internal Affairs Directorate at the place of residence. Do not forget the mandatory requirements associated with storing any type of weapon at home, these include the acquisition and installation of a special safe or metal box.
