Residence permit - a document issued to a foreigner confirming the right to permanently reside in the country. The procedure for granting a residence permit is governed by national legislation. Staying in the country without permission is a violation of immigration laws.
Instructions
Step 1
Submit the following documents to the OVIR if you want to obtain a temporary residence permit in Ukraine: an application of the appropriate sample (take a sample of writing from the OVIR or download it from the Internet), a photocopy of 1 page of the passport (and its translation into Ukrainian certified by a notary), an identification code, notarized work permit and insurance policy.
Step 2
Take certificates of family composition and no criminal record, a certificate from a narcologist, certificates of tuberculosis and AIDS, documents on the right to use the living space, take 6 matte black and white photographs 3x4 cm and present receipts for payment of the state duty and OVIR services. You must also provide a statement from all members of your household who have reached the age of 18 to consent to your temporary registration.
Step 3
The same documents will be required to obtain a permanent residence permit. Also attach a document on the right to obtain a permanent residence permit in Ukraine, a certificate of no criminal record on the territory of the first country of citizenship and a statement of all adult family members about their consent to your permanent registration. Please provide 8 photos.
Step 4
Get a permanent residence permit if:
- you were previously a citizen of Ukraine;
- your closest relatives are citizens of Ukraine;
- your child, spouse or parents immigrated to Ukraine;
- you are a worker of science and culture.
- your spouse is a citizen of Ukraine and the marriage lasts more than 2 years;
- you are a refugee and have been living on the territory of Ukraine for 3 or more years;
- you have invested in the Ukrainian economy from $ 100,000 and more.
When obtaining a permanent residence permit, you will not need to undergo periodic registration at the OVIR.
