Step 1

As for the fundamental principles of sales, there are very few of them - only 3. Following them, you can, if you wish, learn to sell anything you want.

Step 2

It is necessary to sell not the actual product or service, but a solution to the problem for a specific person. In other words, the product can be great in itself, the service is effective, but the buyer will not want to pay money if he is not sure that by purchasing what the seller offers him, he will thus satisfy his needs. And it becomes pointless to tell him about the merits of the product - he will not make a purchase.

Step 3

How can a product or service help a person solve his problems? For example, by selling a voucher, a travel company is selling an opportunity to have a good rest and recuperate or get new impressions. Selling an apartment, an agent offers not just a room with certain characteristics, but a place where a person can relax or work, comfortable housing, where he can comfortably stay with his family or retire from the world around him. Any offer should come from the needs of a potential client, and a good seller, first of all, must answer for himself the question: why this particular product or this service is the person to whom he applies with the offer.

Step 4

People are not very fond of solving problems on their own, thinking, looking for solutions. If there is someone who offers them a ready-made solution to their problem, they accept it with joy and readiness. The more convincingly the seller can prove to the buyer that by purchasing a product or service, the latter will solve his problem quickly and efficiently, the more readily the buyer will acquire what is offered.

Step 5

People like to be aware of their importance and righteousness, so a good seller will not argue with a buyer, even if he is absolutely sure that he is wrong. By agreeing with a potential buyer, starting any phrase of a dialogue with him with an acknowledgment of his correctness and demonstrating an understanding of his doubts, the seller creates an atmosphere of trust between himself and those with whom he is negotiating. The task of a good seller is in the process of dialogue to lead the buyer to the idea that the product or service that is being offered to purchase is absolutely necessary for him. It will seem to a person that he made a decision on his own, and he will be internally pleased with himself and the perfect purchase.
