A doctor is a special profession. Not everyone can become a doctor.

- The second important quality is the ability to compassion, the ability to understand the pain of a person, to sympathize with his misfortune. But this should in no way interfere with medical practice.
- It is very important for a doctor to be able to make the right decision and implement it, first of all, to treat not a disease, but a patient.
The medical profession is very multifaceted and varied. If you decide to become a doctor, you should consider specialization.
Therapist
It is customary to call him "the king of doctors", since first of all they go to him for examination, and only then he directs the patient to a specialized specialist.
Family doctor
Unlike a therapist, he not only examines the patient, but also prescribes treatment, monitors the course of the disease, makes decisions about possible hospitalization or the invitation of a narrow specialist.
Pediatrician
This is a general practitioner for children. First of all, a pediatrician must have such qualities as kindness and patience. Full dedication is required, without which the work of a pediatrician becomes meaningless.
Surgeon
The most responsible and difficult profession. The work is connected with physical and nervous stress. To become a surgeon, you need to enter the pediatric or preventive medicine faculty, complete training in the general program for 5 years, and only in the sixth year start training in the profile.
Obstetrician-gynecologist
Must know both the surgical and therapeutic aspects of their specialization, however, there are features that are not inherent in either the profession of a surgeon or the profession of a therapist.
Anesthesiologist-resuscitator
They will have to work with patients in serious condition. These doctors have a special responsibility. They are involved in calculating the dose and administering anesthesia, so they must be ready to answer for the result of their work.
