If you get sick, feel unwell, according to the new rules, not only the district doctor can open a sick leave for you. From July 1, 2011, medical institutions issue sick leave certificates of a new sample. Compared to the old system, there are advantages and disadvantages.

Step 1
If there are appropriate indications for opening a sick leave, call a local doctor at home or an ambulance (not to be confused with an ambulance, which does not issue sick leave).

If you are not at home (for example, visiting), you can call a doctor from a local clinic to your house, and he can also open a sick leave for you. True, you will still have to close it in your clinic at the place of residence, unless you decide to attach to the one from which the doctor was called. There is a corresponding procedure for this.
Step 3
In general, you now have the right to go to a doctor at any clinic (under the pretext that you are visiting or temporarily living in another area, city, etc.), and there you can be issued a sick leave, and not only a district doctor, but also another specialist, for example, a cardiologist.
Step 4
On the sick leave, the doctor will indicate the date of the next examination. If you came to the doctor at the specified time, then the same doctor who opened it or the doctor in your clinic can extend the sick leave.
Step 5
So it is now easy to open a sick leave, it is more difficult to close it and get money from the employer for it. There are a lot of formalities here: the sick leave must be filled out by the doctor correctly, in cells, without corrections. Previously, two fixes were allowed, now - none. The second part of the sheet is filled in by your employer, who, although he can correct something, must also fit into the required number of cells, and write the corrections on the back side, certifying them with the seal and signature of the accountant and manager.
Step 6
Sick leave money is now calculated according to a complex scheme. Three days in full, then depending on your work experience and average income over the past two years. If you have less than 5 years of experience, you will receive only 60% of the average earnings, if you have more than 5 years of experience - 80%, and if more than 8 - 100%.
