Step 1

You can make changes to the Regulations on remuneration only if the organizational and technological working conditions change significantly at the enterprise. Organizational conditions imply a reorganization of an enterprise or a reduction in the number of staff members. Changing technological conditions means the introduction of new technologies into production, more advanced and modern equipment, or the retraining of production.

Step 2

The wage clause is an integral part of the collective bargaining agreement, therefore you should consult with the trade union committee of the enterprise before making any changes.

Step 3

Notify the chairman of the trade union committee in advance about the upcoming changes in the Regulation on wages and their reasons. Announce a meeting on the agenda of which will be the question of changing the wages of workers.

Step 4

At the meeting, state the reasons why you are going to change the salaries and bonuses of employees of the organization, and enlist the support of the union committee. Record the results of the meeting in the minutes.

Step 5

Notify the employees of the enterprise about the planned changes in wages. This means that two months before the planned date of the introduction of the new Regulation, you must distribute to all employees, against signature, notifications of changes in their salaries. The current conditions of remuneration should not be worsened by new changes to the Regulation.

Step 6

After the expiration of a two-month period, the current Regulation is invalidated and the new developed one is put into effect. Draw it up in the form of an annex to the collective agreement of the enterprise.

Step 7

If the enterprise does not have a collective agreement, then changes to the Regulations on remuneration are drawn up in the form of an appendix to the already existing Regulations.

Step 8

After you have introduced the new Regulation, make changes regarding the salaries of employees in their employment contracts.
