The category of workers is determined for the organization of the tariff system of remuneration and assessment of their skill level. It is necessary to assess the level of qualifications and assign categories to workers in accordance with the labor legislation of the Russian Federation.
Instructions
Step 1
If a person first gets a job and has a document on education, then assign the tariff category to him on the basis of this document. The category specified in the education document has already been confirmed by the state qualification commission of the educational institution in accordance with the level of theoretical and professional training of the worker and the results of qualifying exams.
Put the assigned category in the documents for employment (employment contract, order for employment, employee personal card, work book).
Step 2
If a person first gets a job and does not have a certificate of education, then assign such a worker the lowest grade - 1st or 2nd.
Open the unified tariff and qualification directory (ETKS), select the industry, the release of the ETKS, select a profession, characteristics of work of the 1st and 2nd category, compare with the work that will be entrusted to the employee, assign category 1 or 2. Put down the rate category on your job application documents. In the future, increase the category of a worker and assign more complex work in the process of labor activity.
Step 3
If you need to determine the category of a worker without a certificate of education, but having work experience in this profession, then in this case, see the entry in the employee's work book from the previous place of work. Assign the category of such a worker when hiring in accordance with this record.
Step 4
In the process of labor activity, the wage level of the worker can be increased. The increase in the ranks in this case is carried out by the qualification commission, created by order for the enterprise. The commission usually includes the heads of the shop, the site, employees of the production training department, the personnel department, and the wages department.
So, it is necessary to raise the wage category for the worker. Ask the worker to submit a statement, endorsed by the head of the department (foreman, head of the section, shop), ask the head of the section, shop to write a presentation or description of this worker.
Notify the commission about the need to conduct a qualifying exam.
During the exam, the worker must answer the theoretical questions that are spelled out in the sections of the unified tariff and qualification reference book "job characteristics" and "must know" of the category for which he applies.
During the practical part of the exam, the worker must perform test work corresponding to the level of the declared qualifications.
Step 5
Based on the results of testing the knowledge and skills of the worker, the qualification commission makes a decision: whether or not to assign a new category. Report the decision of the commission to the employee immediately after the vote. Next, draw up the commission's protocol, in which the assessment is put down (excellent, good, satisfactory, unsatisfactory) and the result of the commission's decision is noted.
Sign the protocol by the members of the commission and keep it together with the employee's statement in his personal file. Based on the protocol, assign a new category to the employee and make an entry about this in the employee's work book and personal card, complete the changes to the documents on remuneration.
