The employment center in everyday life is called the employment center, where the unemployed are registered. Any Russian at the place of his permanent residence can register and receive this official status. A prerequisite is also that he does not have any paid job. Registration is carried out after the submission of the necessary documents.

It is necessary

  • - the passport;
  • - work book with the last record of dismissal;
  • - certificate of IP closure or LLC liquidation (if any);
  • - a certificate of salary for the year before contacting the employment center from the last place of work in the form of an employment center;
  • - education document;
  • - birth certificates of children (if any);
  • - passbook for calculating unemployment benefits.

Instructions

Step 1

Collect the required documents. This is, first of all, a passport, a work book with a record of dismissal from the last job and a document on education (diploma, certificate, etc., one of the highest level of education available) is enough.

If you have not been officially employed anywhere, an education document is sufficient.

Those who, before being registered at the employment center, were an entrepreneur or founder of an enterprise, will need to present a certificate of termination of entrepreneurial activity or of liquidation of the company.

Those who have children must present a birth certificate for each child.

Step 2

At the employment center, you will also be given a salary certificate of the established form, which you must take to your last place of work, and there you must fill it out and certify it with a signature and seal.

Step 3

When you bring the entire package of necessary documents, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. In it, you will indicate your personal data, requirements for the desired job (here it is better not to be modest, so that the employees of the center do not later consider the obviously unacceptable options for you) and a list of services that you would like to receive from the employment center (assistance in finding a job, payment unemployment benefits, free training in a new profession, gratuitous subsidies for starting a business, etc.).

Step 4

After registration, you will be assigned the date and time of your first visit to the employment center. You will have to go to check in once every two weeks; during periods of mass unemployment (for example, during the financial crisis of 2008), the frequency of visits can be reduced to 1 time per month.

Failure to appear at the employment center without a valid reason (due to sickness, or otherwise) will result in the loss of benefits.

If there are suitable vacancies, you will be given referrals for interviews. If you are not hired, the employer will have to state the reason in writing. Failure to show up for an interview or systematic refusals to work that is deemed suitable for you can also lead to loss of benefits.

Step 5

On the first visit "for the mark" you should bring it to open it in any place where it is more convenient. In the center, along with the passbook (it contains the numbers of the bank branch and your account), bring the details that the branch clerk will give you when you open the book.

You will also need to make the minimum payment to the account assigned to your passbook - 10 rubles.
