Step 1

The specifics of formalizing labor relations with underage specialists are spelled out in Article 270 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, which regulates the norms of payment for working hours. Upon admission of an employee who has reached the age of 16, accept an application from him. The document is addressed to the head of the company. In the content part, the name of the department (service), the position where the employee is admitted is prescribed. When an employee is applying for a job that involves harmful, hazardous working conditions, obtain written parental consent.

Step 2

Check if a person under the age of 18 is studying in an educational institution. If he receives full-time education, it is prohibited by labor law to accept such an employee. When training is carried out by correspondence, evening form, proceed with further registration.

Step 3

Make an employment contract. Indicate in the document the working conditions, the size of the salary, as well as the name of the position, service where the specialist enters. For an employee under the age of 16, set a 24-hour work week. If an employee is accepted from 16 to 18 years old, please note that he has the right to work no more than 35 hours a week. The contract can be drawn up both for an indefinite period and for a fixed period.

Step 4

Draw up an order. Use Form T-1. Enter the working conditions in the administrative document as it is written in the contract. Certify the order with the director's signature, familiarize the minor employee with the document against receipt.

Step 5

Get a personal card for an employee under 18 years of age. Enter information about education, personal data, as well as working conditions for this position. Get a work book for an employee. Fill in the information in accordance with the rules. Make a note of the position, department where the minor employee is hired. Please note that in the performance of duties such an employee is entitled to leave that cannot be postponed or replaced with compensation.
