Step 1

In order to properly dismiss an employee for absenteeism, the employer must have an evidentiary base. Therefore, only issuing a dismissal order will not be enough. Otherwise, the employee can appeal against the dismissal decision in court, and the employer will be held administratively liable.

Step 2

Initially, it is necessary to draw up an act on the employee's absence from the workplace. It must contain the data of the employee, the date and time of his absence, the signatures of witnesses and an indication that the reason for the failure to appear has not been clarified. The act must be signed by at least two witnesses. You can also take reports from other employees that confirm that they have not seen the truant at the workplace.

Step 3

Fill in the time sheet with the wording NN (failure to appear due to unexplained circumstances). At the same time, ask the employee to explain the reasons for the absence from the workplace. This can be done both orally and in writing. But if the employee is in the mood for conflict, it is better to draw up a written request. The explanatory worker is given two days to prepare.

Step 4

The explanatory note must be kept. If a refusal is received from the employee, it is necessary to make a record of the refusal in the corresponding act.

Step 5

Issue an order to terminate the employment contract in form No. T-8 due to absenteeism. The date of the order must be no later than a month after the truancy.

Step 6

Make an entry in the work book. Indicate the number and date of the dismissal order, as well as the reason for terminating the contract - absenteeism.

Step 7

Issue a personal employee card in the form No. T-2. Enter here a record of termination of the employment contract due to absenteeism. The employee must sign the document.

Step 8

On the day of dismissal, it is necessary to pay all due remuneration (including the payroll), as well as issue documents - a work book, a certificate of the amount of remuneration.
