Step 1
So, what is needed in order to serve in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces? At what age should you think about it? What documents and actions are required for this? We will try to give answers to all these questions. Go to serve by conscription or contract. The easiest way, if you are a student under the age of 27 and want to serve in the armed forces, you can do this either by conscription (if you are not studying at any educational institution at that moment) or by contract. At the moment, they serve 1 calendar year. If you are not going to college, you can serve after high school or college. You can also serve after training at the institute. It is also now possible to serve under a contract, although not in all regions.
Step 2
Enter to study at such a university in a country where there is a military department and after graduation you will receive the rank of lieutenant in the reserve of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The training program at such departments is designed for 3 years. Some universities now even provide for the training of contract officers who are required to serve after graduation for at least 3-5 years in the ranks of the Armed Forces. Reserve officers can also sign contracts for 3-5 years or more with the armed forces.
Step 3
Apply to study at a higher military educational institution. This can be done at the age of 18 after graduating from secondary education. But there are exceptions, for example: the Suvorov or Nakhimov school, where children can enter even at 13, 14 and 15 years old! There they will study, serve and build a career as an officer. This, of course, is for those who want to devote to military service from childhood.
Step 4
Apply after graduating from a civil university or secondary education to serve in the FSB of the Russian Federation. The reception there is very thorough and tough. You will be credited based on your academic performance, athletic ability, mental and volitional qualities, and your skills and abilities. Few people are accepted into this institution, since the activities of these bodies are complex and multifaceted. To enter the service, you need to submit documents to the local branch of the FSB. In all cases, apply to your local military commissariat. And after that, wait for their response and further actions: collection of documents and medical examination. After that, a decision is already made on the enrollment of a citizen in the service and the category of his suitability for it.
