Instructions
Step 1
Start preparing for a meeting with a potential employer in advance, take a shower, prepare a suit and shoes, pick up the necessary accessories. Your appearance should be respectable. Don't look too bright or provocative. Business suits in soothing shades are best suited for interviews. Women should not wear overly flashy makeup or wear a lot of jewelry.
Step 2
Be sure to take with you all the necessary documents: passport, diploma, work book. Print and take your resume with you, even if you have already submitted it.
Step 3
Sometimes employers go for the trick and at the very beginning of the interview they ask you to tell a little about yourself. Therefore, it is worth considering in advance the answer to such a tricky question. The text should not be too large. Start it with the date and place of your birth. Tell me where you were educated, mention additional courses, if any. For details, dwell on the places of work. First, tell us about the latter. Name the organization, the position in which you worked, the main achievements that you had there. You need to talk in detail only about the last 3-4 jobs. All the others can only be mentioned.
Step 4
As a rule, employers try not to hire people who are ready to do anything to get a job. Therefore, do not show too much your desire to work in this particular organization. If a person has not asked a single question about work, but is already ready to work, this leads to not very pleasant thoughts. This is usually the behavior of people with low self-esteem. They try not to hire such employees. Be confident in yourself, ask questions about future activities, remuneration, team.
Step 5
Don't lie about your previous job. After all, it will not be difficult for a manager to call and inquire about your achievements. Answer questions about the service as truthfully and openly as possible. Don't withhold information. Even if you were fired, report it.
Step 6
During the interview, face the employer most of the time. Do not look away, this indicates that the person is hiding something. Do not take closed poses. Arms folded across your chest, or crossed legs will also not testify in your favor.
Step 7
Imagine yourself as an employer. Think about how you would like to see your future subordinate. Try to match the look you get.
