Step 1
You will not be able to issue your first work book on your own, it is made by the employer when hiring. According to the law, up to 5 working days are provided for registration of a work book, during which time the employee can terminate the employment contract. In case of dismissal, the employee receives his work book in his hands.
Step 2
This document records the official length of service, the position of the person and the period of stay in it, as well as all possible movements of the employee up the career ladder within the company, promotion or demotion. The work book records information about the education of a person and his specialty. All entries are made exclusively in full, abbreviations are not allowed.
Step 3
In case of a possible loss of your work book, you should immediately contact the last organization where you officially worked and provide a written application there. In the next two weeks, the employer must give you a duplicate work record book, which will contain all the data on official work experience, as well as possible awards. To issue a duplicate after the loss of the work book, it will be necessary to provide a number of supporting original documents, such as orders for employment and dismissal, employment contracts and others.
Step 4
After a person reaches retirement age, the work book can be provided by the employee to the pension fund of the Russian Federation. After calculating the length of service of a person, the corresponding pension is charged.
