The certificate of conformity is a confirmation of the requirements for imported or manufactured products on the territory of the Russian Federation. Without this document, the sale of any type of product is considered illegal. The certificate is issued on the basis of laboratory research and verification of all documents for goods. If the certificate has expired, you need to issue a new certificate, since there is no concept of "renewing a document".
Necessary
- - samples of goods;
- - receipt of payment for certification;
- - expired certificate;
- - documents for the goods;
- - manufacturer's certificate;
- - declaration of customs control.
Instructions
Step 1
To issue a new certificate instead of an expired document, contact a single certification center in your city. Present an expired certificate; samples of products for which the certificate is issued; documents from the manufacturer; manufacturer's certificate, if any; a declaration on the passage of customs control, if the products are imported from outside the Russian Federation.
Step 2
If samples of goods have passed laboratory control, in some cases it is sufficient to present the available documents. You will also be given a receipt to pay for certification services.
Step 3
Your application will be considered within two to four weeks (it depends on the region) and you will be informed about the timing of the certificate production. If it is impossible to carry out laboratory activities under the conditions of a certification center, the products will be sent to another organization licensed for this type of activity. Previously, the whole procedure was carried out in the district department of the sanitary epidemiological station. In many regions, a single certification center has remained under the jurisdiction of the SES.
Step 4
In accordance with the tests carried out or the review of the submitted technical documentation, a protocol is drawn up with the signatures of all members of the certification commission. On the basis of the protocol, a state-recognized certificate is issued in the form of GOST and is entered into the State Register.
Step 5
If a product does not comply with safety, has not passed epidemiological control or does not comply with Russian GOST standards, it is impossible to obtain a certificate of conformity for it, and therefore, you have no right to put it up for sale.
Step 6
All goods that are recognized as safe, comply with GOST and have passed sanitary epidemiological control, can be certified and put up for sale.
