Step 1
You can renew the certificate automatically or manually. This can be done not only after the expiration of its validity period, but also immediately before its expiration. The certificate can be renewed with the existing set of keys that you used earlier, or with the provision of new ones. How to renew a certificate with a new key. Open the Certificates snap-in on your computer.
Expand the Personal folder in the console tree.
Select the "Certificates" item there.

Find the Details area.
Select the certificate to be renewed.
Click on the "Action" item in the menu.

Select the All Tasks command in the window that appears.
Click on the item "Renew certificate with a new key". The Certificate Renewal Wizard should appear.
Select the default for certificate renewal.
Click Next.

Click on the "Application" button.
Wait for the completion of the Certificate Renewal Wizard.
Click the Finish or Close button.
