Step 1
Decide what type of business you want to start. For a small company, a registration form without forming a legal entity may be suitable, that is, you can become an individual entrepreneur.
Step 2
If you nevertheless decide to register a legal entity, collect the necessary documents. Get an individual tax number (TIN), if you have not done so before. Also download an application for registration of a legal entity from the website of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) and fill it out.
Step 3
Find a lawyer to help you with the incorporation documents for your organization. The coordinates of law offices are available in printed and electronic directories. Look for lawyers who specialize in preparing business documents.
Step 4
Pay the state fee, which for 2011 is two thousand rubles. The receipt can be filled in at any branch of Sberbank. Payment of the duty is possible both in cash and by bank transfer.
Step 5
Find the coordinates of the tax authority you have to apply to. This can be done through the FTS website. Open the section "State registration of legal entities". At the bottom of the page there will be a link "Your inspection address". Click on it. If you do not know the tax authority IFTS code, skip this point. Then select from the proposed options the region where you live, the district and the city. The system will give you the address of your tax office and a contact phone number.
Step 6
Call the tax office for the opening hours of the office when they are accepting applications for taxpayer registration.
Step 7
Come at the specified time to your department of the Federal Tax Service with all the prepared documents and passport. Check with the employees when the registration will be completed, and on the specified day come to receive your documents for a registered legal entity.
