A significant number of Russians have thought about moving abroad at least once. For many years, one of the most attractive countries for emigration is Great Britain, which attracts emigrants not only with the possibility of obtaining a prestigious education, but also with a high standard of living.
Instructions
Step 1
Consider on what basis you will be able to move to the UK. You can get an immigrant visa only if you are going to work there. It is also possible to move as a student with the prospect of employment, or as a spouse of a local citizen.
Step 2
For professional emigration, go one of two paths. The first option involves the relocation of a qualified specialist. In this case, you do not need to have a job in the UK in advance, but you need to collect a certain cumulative number of points on various parameters from a special questionnaire. For the second option, you will need to find an employer who will agree to hire you and get a job offer from him. Based on these documents, you will be able to obtain an immigration visa for yourself and for your immediate family members - your spouse and minor children.
Step 3
When emigrating through study at a university, you will receive confirmation of admission to one of the universities. You will then be able to obtain a temporary visa. After graduation, you will receive the right to stay in the country for some more time in order to find a job. If you succeed, then you can eventually get a permanent residence permit, the same as that of a person who immediately came to work.
Step 4
To emigrate through marriage, find a potential English spouse and marry him. If you do this in Russia, you will be able to enter the UK with a family visa. In the case when you want to hold a wedding in England, you will need to apply for a bride visa. This is done through one of the UK Visa Application Centers. After a few years of marriage, you will be able to apply for citizenship.
