The state provides support to citizens temporarily unemployed. One of these ways is to keep track of them and find a suitable place to work. These issues are dealt with by the employment exchange, or the employment center (CPC). It is a non-profit organization that provides social support to people who have lost their jobs.

Instructions
Step 1
To register at the employment exchange, you must meet several criteria: be over 16 years old, have no income from work, not be convicted and retired.
Step 2
If you have lost your job and want to get registered with the CPC, you need to provide the following documents: passport, educational document, work record book, certificate of average wage at the last place of work. Fill out a certificate of average earnings on the form approved by the Center of Employment Services, in a different form this information will not be accepted by the specialist.
Step 3
After checking the documents you have submitted, the specialist of the employment center will consider the possibility of registering you as an unemployed person. This procedure usually takes 10 days. After receiving this status, you will need to come to the CPC to receive a list of vacancies and check in with the relevant employee 2 times a month.
Step 4
The maximum allowance, for example, in 2012 is 4,900 rubles, the minimum is 850 rubles. All amounts are indicated without taking into account regional coefficients. In the event that you did not have a work activity in the period before entering the labor exchange, you will be assigned a minimum allowance.
Step 5
After obtaining unemployed status, you can take professional retraining courses. During your studies, you will be paid a scholarship and you will be deregistered at the employment exchange. During the refresher training period, you may even be paid the cost of travel to the place of study, as well as living expenses. But if you do not attend courses or show poor performance, you may be deprived of part of the scholarship or all of the payments.
