The success of a business is largely determined by how employees relate to their responsibilities. This is especially true for leading experts. If you notice that one of your employees has stopped trying, do not rush to write a resignation order, it is better to try to motivate the employee.

Instructions

Step 1

Create a bulletin board in your office. Organize monthly small competitions among employees for the title of "Best Employee", drawing up "Best Report" or "Best Project". Reward the winners with a small pay raise. This will stimulate the team in the best possible way, because for the usual performance of their work, only with an increased result, one can get recognition from the authorities and additional earnings.

Step 2

Talk to a coworker if you see that their performance has decreased. Ask what does not suit him in the labor process, and what changes he would like. Suggest possible ways to improve the situation. Discuss all the points and outline the boundaries of your possibilities. A vague wording can lead to the fact that the employee, realizing his importance, will constantly demand more, blackmailing with leaving or reducing performance.

Step 3

Analyze the employee's performance. Identify those areas of activity in which the person is really well versed. Perhaps you put him in the wrong position or in a department where his work is not as productive as you would like.

Step 4

Invite the employee to lead an interesting project, the process of which will truly capture him. Give the opportunity to manage and develop the plan yourself. The person will be flattered that you entrust him with such a responsible occupation, and he will try to justify your hopes.

Step 5

Think about it, perhaps the employee does not make you happy with the productivity of work, since his work has become monotonous. Perhaps it is high time to raise a specialist, or a situation has developed in his life when it is necessary to increase the amount of income. Pay attention to the conditions in which the employee works. Sometimes a long wait for some kind of improvement leads to the fact that the specialist begins to treat his duties with the same indifference as his superiors to his needs. In this case, it is necessary to make concessions.
