For this, a regulatory act of the company is drawn up, which spells out the provisions on certification, the employee is notified in writing. On the basis of the order, the characteristics of a specialist, an attestation sheet is drawn up, and based on the results of activities, a protocol on the results of attestation is drawn up.

Step 1
The first stage of certification is preparation for this event. Draw up a local regulation. Write down the provisions on certification in it. In the document, indicate the procedure for the preparation, conduct, as well as the consequences of such an event. Enter the list of specialists who are excluded from the list of attested. Approve the developed regulations by order of the head.
Step 2
Schedule the certification. Legislative norms recommend that such events be carried out no more than once a year. Approve the schedule by order of the manager.
Step 3
Create an attestation commission. As a rule, this group includes heads of departments (services). Appoint the head of the personnel department as the head of the commission. Approve the composition of the certification commission by order of the director.
Step 4
Issue an order. Please write the date when the certification will take place. In the order, write down the list of employees who are subject to certification. As a rule, the list of employees is prepared in advance by the heads of services. For each certified specialist, the immediate superiors compile characteristics of professional activities.
Step 5
Make tests that should contain questions strictly according to the profession, the position of specialists. Establish what percentage of correct answers serves as certification.
Step 6
Conduct certification. Give each employee a personal attestation sheet, the numbers of questions and the essence of the answers are entered into the document. The attestation sheet, characteristics for a specialist are attached to the protocol drawn up by the commission. The protocol records the results of certification, the number of those who passed the test, the number of employees who did not pass the test.
Step 7
Based on the minutes of the certification commission, the head of the enterprise issues an order. It specifies specialists who correspond to their positions and remain in the same place; employees who have not passed the test and are subject to transfer to lower positions or dismissal; employees who should be transferred to a higher position.
