The technology for finding a job as an accountant is not radically different from looking for a job in another specialty, however, novice accountants often have to settle for extremely low wages in order to simply gain experience or work several days a week.

Look for a job actively: post your resume on several job description sites at once, do not forget to update it at least once every few days. If you have no work experience, indicate that you are familiar with basic accounting programs and have had a good academic record. You should not indicate too high a salary in your resume, because due to the large number of applicants with low claims, your resume may simply not be considered. You may not indicate your salary at all, especially if you have little work experience: make an appointment for it at an interview, especially since at first the most important thing for you is gaining experience.

When looking for a job, it is worth using not only job search sites, but also the sites of companies: they also sometimes post vacancies. By sending your resume to the specific address of the recruiting manager, you get a better chance that your resume will be reviewed.

Keep a record of the companies you sent your resume to. If the companies you are most interested in do not answer you, call them back and see if your resume has been reviewed. Take an interest in the results if you went for an interview and they promised to call you back within a few days, but did not call you back.
Step 6
If you can't get a job for a five-day period, get a job as a visiting accountant (for example, in small companies, accountants sometimes work 2-3 days a week). Of course, this means that you will earn less, but this is better than not working at all, as you gain new experience.
