In the process of labor relations with personnel, some employers are faced with the registration of sick leave payments. There is an article in the Labor Code that states that the employer is obliged to pay the employee a temporary disability benefit. The FSS returns a certain amount of payment to the organization, but for this it is necessary to correctly issue a sick leave.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, get a certificate of incapacity for work from the employee. The document must be drawn up in a medical institution. Check if it is filled in correctly. The line for the place of work and position must contain reliable information, that is, the name of the organization according to the constituent documents, and the position according to the staffing table. The reason for the incapacity for work must also be indicated.
Step 2
If you are applying for a sick leave for pregnancy and childbirth, check the timing of maternity leave. To do this, from the expected date of birth, which is indicated on the sick leave, subtract 70 days for singleton pregnancies and 84 for multiple pregnancies.
Step 3
If there are corrections on the certificate of incapacity for work, they must be certified by the signature of the doctor and the seal of the medical institution. More than two corrections are not allowed.
Step 4
In addition to the certificate of incapacity for work, ask the employee for a statement. But this document is needed only if a sick leave for pregnancy and childbirth is provided, the basis for its preparation will sound as follows: "on the provision of maternity leave and payment of benefits." If the employee receives sickness compensation, one certificate of incapacity for work will be enough from him.
Step 5
If the employee goes on maternity leave, fill out an order for granting leave and calculating benefits. After that, transfer the administrative document to the accounting department for the subsequent calculation of the due compensation.
Step 6
Fill in the special section on the sick leave. Here indicate the data of the employee (full name, TIN, SNILS), insurance experience, period of incapacity for work. Enter the amount of the average daily earnings, the total amount of the benefit just below. Indicate how much money was paid at the expense of the employer, and how much at the expense of the FSS. Sign the document.
