Some business leaders use third-party transportation services in the process. For example, you need to deliver goods from a supplier's warehouse or transport products to a buyer's warehouse. It is very important to correctly formalize these relations, that is, to draw up a transportation contract.

Step 1
Before drawing up a legal document, discuss all the conditions with the counterparty orally. Be sure to record all the points - this is done in order not to rewrite the contract several times in the future.
Step 2
In the document, indicate the subject of the contract, that is, services for the transportation of any valuables to the destination. Check if loading and unloading is included in the service. Also, you must prescribe whether the storage and delivery of the goods to the recipient is included, or the company itself will deal with this, upon meeting the goods at the destination. Provide loading and unloading addresses.
Step 3
Specify what type of transport the transportation will be provided. If automobile - indicate the make of the car and, if available, the types of installations, for example, crane (for loading and unloading).
Step 4
Indicate in the contract the name of the cargo, the number of pieces and the total weight. Write down the special conditions of transportation, for example, extreme caution is required with glass (this must be indicated in the contract). Some cargoes are transported in specialized containers.
Step 5
Write down the term of the contract. You can calculate it with the contractor or use the transport charter. Be sure to indicate with what documents the transportation is made out, for example, an act, a waybill. If VAT is applied, an invoice must be drawn up.
Step 6
Specify other conditions, rights and obligations. Before signing, it is better to give the contract to a lawyer for review, since some of the nuances are very important. Execute a double copy of a cargo transportation agreement. Both parties must sign it, after which the information is sealed with the organization's seals. At the end of the agreement, be sure to indicate the details of the parties: TIN, KPP, bank details, legal and postal address, the name of the managers.
