Of course, everyone received, and some more than once, a certificate of compulsory pension insurance. This document confirms registration in the general state pension insurance system. The main thing that is indicated in it is the account number that is opened in your name with the Pension Fund. This is important, especially when you apply for a job, because the employer must submit your individual information to the fund without fail.

Step 1
Now about the insurance number of the individual account of the insured person (abbreviated SNILS). This number is stamped on a green plastic card. But if it so happens that you have lost your pension certificate, and at the place of work you are required to give it, then first of all contact the nearest Pension Fund branch at your place of residence or actual stay. There you will need to fill out an application form with a request to make a new certificate. It is usually done within 10 working days.
Step 2
If you have not lost the card, but you urgently need to find out the certificate number, then the simplest way will again be to contact the department of the fund. There, the inspector will tell you the number of your certificate when specifying the necessary data, such as your name, year of birth, address. Do not forget to bring your passport or other proof of identity (driver's license, for example).
Step 3
Send a letter directly to the head of the personalized accounting department of the Pension Fund Office of your area with a request to indicate the number of your certificate. In the letter, be sure to write your full name, passport data, TIN, place and date of birth.
Step 4
Many FIU branches provide this service on the departmental website. It exists as an experiment, so by going to the PFR website (Moscow), find your region and follow the link to the regional website.
Step 5
Click the "Personalized accounting" tab and look for "Individuals" there, if the section for finding the SNILS number is not there, then just send a request letter to the management e-mail address.

Step 6
It is also possible to find out the number of the insurance certificate with the help of a special company that provides services for finding such data via the Internet and in other ways. You shouldn't contact them, but you need to know about them.
Step 7
Search the internet for your data yourself. To do this, you will need: the address of your branch of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, passport data, TIN.
