The pension system in Russia is based on compulsory pension insurance, which is achieved by deducting monthly amounts to the fund in proportion to the employee's salary. It is from these payments that the pension is formed, which is paid when an insured event occurs: reaching the age of retirement, becoming disabled, losing a breadwinner. Every year the FIU sends letters on the state of the individual personal account to the insured persons (persons under 1967), it also contains information about the number;

You can contact the HR department of your organization, they always have this information;

If you have recently quit, you can try to contact your former place of work, where information of this kind about employees is stored for some time;

Contact the Pension Fund Office at the place of registration, you must have a passport with you. If the insurance certificate is lost, write an application for a duplicate in the same place.
