The rise in tariffs and the uncontrolled spending of funds collected for the maintenance of housing and other additional costs are forcing homeowners to carefully study the invoices sent monthly by the Management Company and energy suppliers. Sometimes it's not hard to spot miscalculations that increase your payments. What to do in this case? How to get public utilities to explain and correct the mistake?

Step 1
Write a letter to the Management Company or another organization that incorrectly calculated the amount of your payment. Make it up in free writing addressed to the director of the management company (details can be taken in the service agreement that you entered into with this organization). Here also indicate your own surname and initials, personal account number (it is in the receipt), home address and contact phone number for communication.
Step 2
Start your letter with an appeal to the director by name and patronymic "Dear …!". Next, describe the current situation and list your requirements point by point. This can be an explanation of the changed tariffs with reference to regulatory documents, the provision of a financial statement on the expenditure of funds, the work schedule of cleaners and janitors, the timing of repairs or more. Please provide your own calculations, indicating current tariffs and consumption rates or meter readings. Finally, ask for a recalculation of the amounts billed.
Sign the letter, observing the accepted format of the appeal "Sincerely …" and indicate the date it was drawn up.
