In order to obtain a new generation foreign passport, it is necessary to submit the relevant documents to the territorial bodies of the Federal Migration Service and pay the state fee for processing the document.
Application for issuance of a new passport
It must be completed in duplicate on a computer or by hand in block letters in blue or black pen. The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the Federal Migration Service, it is provided in PDF format. Please note that the application must be printed on both sides of one A4 paper sheet, applications printed on two sheets are not accepted for consideration. In addition, the application can be submitted online at the portal of state and municipal services.
Russian passport
This document is required to verify the identity of the applicant. After checking by an employee of the territorial body of the Migration Service, it will be returned to the applicant.
Receipt confirming the payment of the fee for issuing a new generation foreign passport
The amount to be paid is RUB 2,500 for a passport valid for 10 years; when issuing a passport for children under 14 years old, 1,200 rubles are charged.
2 color matte photos
The face should be in an oval with shading. Photos printed on glossy paper will not be accepted. When submitting an application and other documents for a new passport, one more photo will be taken on special equipment, it will be this photo that will be pasted into the passport.
Military ID
It is provided by men between the ages of 18 and 27. The military ID must bear the appropriate mark about the end of service or that the applicant is not fit or partially fit for military service.
Birth certificate
It is provided when applying for a foreign passport for a child under 14 years old. On the reverse side of the certificate, a note must be put on the receipt of Russian citizenship by birthright.
