Registration at the place of residence or place of stay is mandatory for citizens of the Russian Federation. Without it, difficulties arise with finding a job and medical care, in addition, a fine of up to 2,500 rubles is provided for living in large cities without registration.

Step 1
The easiest way for you to register your wife in the apartment, if you are the sole owner of the home. In this case, your spouse must provide her passport, an application for registration, and you - a response application with a request to register her in your area. After the submission of these documents, they are submitted to the registration authorities within three days, then within three days the person is registered in the apartment and a registration certificate is issued (if it is about registration at the place of stay) or a mark is put in the passport (if it is about registration by place of residence).
Step 2
If there are several apartment owners or several tenants are registered in it, then they must also write statements that they want to register your wife in the apartment. If at least one of them is against, then the wife will fail. They are quite understandable - often the main reason for marriage may in fact be the cherished registration in a large city. A compromise option may be temporary registration at the place of residence - in this case, the wife will not have any rights to the living space, and the registration period will be strictly fixed, so that relatives and co-owners of housing will be calm, and the spouse will be able to find a job and receive full medical care in case necessity. At the end of the temporary registration period, it can be extended or a permanent one can be issued if the situation with relatives and co-owners of the apartment has changed.
Step 3
The situation with a non-privatized apartment is the same as with a privatized or owned apartment: statements must be provided in writing by registered tenants that they agree to register your wife.
