The procedure for registering a wife and son in their apartment depends on whether it is privately owned or municipal. In the first case, it is enough that the owner is not against. In the second, you will need to confirm the relationship and provide the consent of all adults registered in the apartment.
Necessary
- - an agreement for the free use of residential premises or an application for the provision of housing, certified by the house management, the Federal Migration Service or notary;
- - passports of all who must sign the documents;
- - birth certificate of a son;
- - the consent of all adults registered in the municipal apartment;
- - marriage certificate (only for registration in a municipal apartment);
- - an extract from the house book (only for municipal housing);
- - copy of financial and personal account (only for municipal housing);
- - application for registration at the place of residence.
Instructions
Step 1
If the apartment is privatized, the owner has the right to register anyone and in any quantity in it. The easiest way is when you are the sole owner of the apartment. In this case, you just need to conclude an agreement with your wife for the provision of free living space and enter your son into it. If there are several homeowners, you will need a written consent from each of them.
Step 2
If the apartment is municipal, more documents are required. All adults registered in this apartment must give their consent to registration, and you will be required to confirm the relationship with the help of a marriage certificate and a son's birth certificate. The responsible tenant will have to submit an application in the prescribed form (can be obtained from the house administration or the Federal Migration Service). Copies of these documents must also be made and presented together with the originals. Copies of the certificates will remain in the archive.
Step 3
There are two ways to conclude an agreement and certify the signatures on the consent or statement. The first involves the personal appearance of all who must sign at the passport office of the house management. The second - to a notary with payment for his services at current rates.
Step 4
The wife then has to fill out a residence registration application. Its form can be taken from the house administration, the FMS department, or downloaded from the public services portal. On the portal, it is also available to fill it out online after authorization. She will enter the data on her son in the appropriate column.
Step 5
If the wife and child have not been discharged from their previous place of residence (and the child can be immediately registered with the father with the mother's consent and if there is confirmation that he is not registered with her, the consent of the other homeowners or others registered in it is not required in this case), the mother fills in the appropriate section of the application. If it is discharged, leaves it blank, and, among other documents, presents the address sheet of departure to the house management. The wife's passport and the son's birth certificate with registration marks must be returned within three days after the documents are received.
