There are two ways to sell existing weapons: selling it through a specialized (weapons) store or re-registering it to an individual.

Step 1
To sell a gun through a specialized store, you must first inform the internal affairs bodies about the decision taken (the LRR division in which the weapon is registered). The LRR will give you a notification form, to which you must attach the appropriate permit and a document for the gun (passport).
If there are no reasons preventing the sale, you will be given a document confirming this. It will be necessary to present it when handing over the gun to the store.
Step 2
To reissue a gun to an individual, you must:
-the buyer should apply to the LRR at the place of residence to obtain a license to purchase a certain type of weapon;
- the buyer and seller of weapons will appear in the LRR, in which they are registered;
-the seller in the LRR needs to write an application for re-issuing the gun to the purchaser, who is obliged to provide the appropriate license.
Step 3
The procedure for the implementation of hunting weapons with a rifled barrel differs only in the need to carry out its control shooting. Permission for control shooting must be obtained from the LRR unit.
Step 4
Requirements for the sale of decorated hunting knives are not described in any regulatory legal act. Therefore, if it is necessary to re-register such weapons, their owners often face great difficulties. Because of this, the practice of transferring hunting cold bladed weapons has developed, according to which the entry in the hunting ticket of the new owner of the knife is entered by the authorized person (chairman) of the hunting society and certified with a signature and seal.
