Step 1

You cannot delete records by erasing or painting. If an incorrect or erroneous entry is made in the book, it is necessary to make corrections.

Step 2

If a mistake is made on the first page, then the old entry must be crossed out and new data must be entered next to it. This applies to the last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth and other columns. After that, on the inside cover, make a note that the corrections were made, as well as on the basis of which document they were made. For example: "Ivanov's surname was changed to Petrov's surname on the basis of a marriage certificate (series and number, date of issue, place of issue)." This record is certified by the official seal or the seal of the structural unit engaged in personnel work, as well as the signature of a personnel service specialist.

Step 3

In the event that a mistake is made in the sections "Information about work" and "Information about awards", you need to: 1. Enter the serial number in column "1" below all entries.

2. In column "2" enter the date of the entry.

3. In column "3" enter the data that the entry under a certain number (you can also specify the text contained in it) is invalid. Refer to the document on the basis of which this entry was made. Write down how the recording should sound right. If the entry was made in error, only invalidation should be cited.

4. In column "4" enter the number of the Order and its date. If a mistake is made in the name of the organization, in column "3" enter a record that the name of the organization "name" is considered incorrect. You should read "title_1" correctly. In this case, no reference is made to the order.

Step 4

All entries in the work book must be certified by the official seal of the organization or the seal of the structural unit, whose duties include filling out work books.

Step 5

In addition, a work book that is issued erroneously (provided that there is no information about the previous place of work) can be destroyed in a special shredder - a paper shredder.
