According to the labor code, an employee has the right to work part-time for an unlimited number of employers, including the main employer. This is especially true for small, developing companies, in which, at first, the director often performs the duties of, for example, the chief accountant. Sometimes company leaders work part-time in other organizations.
Instructions
Step 1
Part-time work is the performance by an employee of other work on the terms of an employment contract in his free time from the main job. This work should be regular and paid. The director of the company also has the right to work part-time. Such work is formalized by an employment contract (as well as the main one).
Step 2
The person authorized in this company to change the terms of the employment contracts of employees entrusts the director with part-time work and draws up all the necessary documents. Part-time job is formalized as follows:
1. An additional agreement to the director's employment contract is concluded, which describes the nature of the work, it is indicated that this work is a part-time job.
2. A corresponding order is issued.
Step 3
But when registering part-time directors, there are some difficulties. The director of the company has the right to work part-time for another employer only after obtaining permission from the authorized body of the company or the owner of its property at the main place of work. Therefore, such permission must be obtained first. This is done so that the employer at the main place of work is confident that the director will be able to fully perform his functions in this company. The procedure for obtaining such a permit is usually determined in the company's charter.
Step 4
If the director of the company is its only participant, then, accordingly, he does not need to obtain any permits. A simple procedure for registration of part-time jobs is applied - drawing up an additional agreement and issuing an order. It is worth remembering that by law, the duration of part-time work should not exceed 4 hours a day. If the director is free from work duties at the main place of work, then he can work part-time full-time.
