Every day, a person is faced with complex problems that arise in the process of personal and business communication. Few manage to resolve them on their own. Modern training practices correct the communication skills of people and help a person not to get lost in everyday worries.

Instructions

Step 1

Complete the group. In order for the people who need it to come to the training, you should conduct a preliminary individual interview with each of the candidates. Participants in psychological training should be focused on changes in themselves and self-improvement. Those who enroll in a group pursuing other goals will interfere with the progress of the entire team.

Step 2

Develop common norms and rules for the group. Mandatory is the principle of trust, according to which each participant must speak sincerely, not embarrassed by the presence of strangers. It is recommended to establish in the group a single form of addressing each other: exclusively on "you" and using a personal name. The principle of confidentiality obliges the training participants to keep the content of communication within the group. The principle of personification of statements is expressed in the use of personal rather than impersonal constructions. For example, "I think that …", instead of "it is believed that …". This linguistic trick obliges participants to express their own opinion, and not repeat popular clichés.

Step 3

Emphasize introspection. After completing each of the psychological exercises, participants should share their feelings and thoughts. What was easy for them, and what caused difficulty. What surprised me in my own behavior and in the reaction of others. It is important that the atmosphere in the group is trusting and that the participants are not afraid to speak sincerely.

Step 4

Simulate stressful situations. For truly meaningful changes to take place in the human psyche, it needs a shock. Therefore, it is very important to include elements of psychodrama in the training program.

Step 5

Prevent rash actions by group members. Excitement, optimism, and a surge of inner strength can cause people to act recklessly. At the end of the session, warn the group members that a powerful emotional uplift is a short-term reaction and can be fixed in the psyche only as a result of long internal work. The desire to drastically change their lives (quit their job, marry, or, conversely, divorce) is quite natural and arises among many participants in psychological training. However, before making serious decisions, you need to carefully consider them and wait at least a month after the end of the training.
