According to the law, a citizen of the Russian Federation must obtain a passport at the age of 14, and then replace it at the age of 20 and 45. However, in some cases, an unscheduled replacement may be required. What will be the duty in this case?
It is necessary
- Details of the territorial office of the Office of the Federal Migration Service
- Receipt of payment of the state fee
Instructions
Step 1
First, you need to decide on the amount of the fee to be paid. If the replacement of the passport is made in connection with the achievement of the replacement age by a citizen, that is, 20 or 45 years, the amount of the state duty for the service of issuing a passport will be 200 rubles. If an unscheduled passport replacement is required, the fee will be higher. In this case, it is not decisive what is the reason that led to the need for an unscheduled replacement: perhaps you washed your passport, thereby spoiling it, lost your document or became a victim of pickpockets. In all these and similar cases, the state duty in connection with the replacement of the passport will be 500 rubles.
Step 2
Prepare the necessary data that will be required to make a payment. Details for paying the state duty can be found on the website of the territorial office of the Office of the Federal Migration Service. Moreover, now each territorial branch, as a rule, posts on its website a link to the receipt form, which already contains all the necessary payment details of the recipient. This receipt will need to be printed, after which you just have to enter your own data in it - last name, first name, address of the place of residence. The finished document can be directly used to make a payment.
Step 3
To pay the state fee, you must contact the nearest bank branch with a pre-prepared receipt. However, if you could not find its form on the website of the Office of the Federal Migration Service or it was not possible to print it, you can provide the operator with the details or fill out an empty receipt form yourself, which is issued free of charge in every bank. Be sure to keep the receipt with a mark of payment - it will serve as confirmation of the required amount.
Step 4
Having paid the state fee, you must personally apply with an application to the territorial body of the Office of the Federal Migration Service in accordance with your place of residence. In addition to the receipt, in this case, you will need to provide an application for the issuance or replacement of a passport, drawn up in form No. 1P, as well as four personal photographs of the applicant.
