A brochure is a small printed edition in the form of a paperback booklet. Used as a type of promotional materials, it can also be used to distribute educational materials.
Instructions
Step 1
Will it be an educational, informational or purely advertising publication? This will determine which design you choose and in what style the texts intended for the brochure will be created.
Step 2
Determine the target audience for which the publication is intended, and based on this, select the information that will be contained in it, create a design. If the brochure is intended for businessmen or university professors, it should be designed in a business style, but if it is aimed at students and young people, it can be bright, colorful, if necessary, even the use of youth slang is acceptable.
Step 3
Structure your information and think about the best and most logical way to arrange it. Use a fairly large print and thesis style. Remember, this is not a scientific work, but an advertising / information publication, its main task is to draw people's attention to something and convey certain significant information to them. Do not overload the publication with facts, it is better to indicate additional sources that, if necessary, the reader can study.
Step 4
So that the reader can easily navigate the materials of the brochure, compose the content and place it at the very beginning of the publication.
Step 5
Make the brochure descriptive, use more photographs and pictures to illustrate its content.
Step 6
And, of course, the brochure should contain the contacts of the organization, information about which it contains. Place contact information in a large and prominent place, if possible - on each page so that people can easily find them.
Step 7
Print a few copies and give it to people who have nothing to do with the organization it represents. Let them tell you if they understand everything and if the information in the brochure is enough for them and if it is conveniently located.
