Step 1
In case of loss, loss, theft of a passport, any citizen of the Russian Federation can use the state service for issuing a new passport.
Step 2
The regional offices of the Federal Migration Service are in charge of issuing and issuing new passports. Take the set of required documents to the department of the Federal Migration Service. It includes a printed or handwritten application for the issuance (replacement) of a passport, a statement about the loss of a passport, four photographs of 35x45 millimeters, a coupon for registering a message about the loss of a passport, which will be issued to you at the Department of Internal Affairs, a receipt for payment of state fees and documents that required for affixing marks in the passport.

A sample application for the issuance (replacement) of a passport can be downloaded from specialized Internet sites. It contains the surname, name, patronymic, place of residence, marital status, the reason for issuing or replacing a passport and other data.
Step 6
The photographs submitted to the FMS department can be color or black and white. The main requirement is that they show your face clearly and in full face. It is not allowed to be photographed for a passport wearing a headdress.
Step 7
Among the documents that are required to affix additional marks in the passport include birth certificates of children, certificates of registration or divorce, military ID and papers confirming registration at the place of residence.
Step 8
Among other things, the FMS may also require you to submit documents confirming your belonging to the citizenship of the Russian Federation.
Step 9
The state duty for the issuance (replacement) of a passport is 500 rubles and can be paid at a branch of any bank.
Step 10
After submitting all the documents, you will have to wait until the new passport is ready. The law sets aside up to two months for this.
