For those whose work is directly related to the use of a computer, it is first of all important to keep all electronic documents and files in order. Ideally, you need to allocate a separate hard disk partition for working documents, where you will already create the required number of folders for storing files.

As practice shows, the easiest way is to find files in appropriately named folders, the subfolders of which are divided according to the dates of the documents' creation. Those. in the "Reports" folder, create the "2014" folder, in which the "January" folder is created, where all January reports will be saved.

If you have to create and save more than 20-30 documents monthly, you can create subfolders with dates in the month folder for convenience.

A desktop that improves productivity

You can hardly imagine how much time per month you spend in total looking for pens, markers, notebooks, necessary documents and magazines at the workplace. But in just a couple of hours you can free your desktop from all sorts of unnecessary little things and thereby simplify access to really important things.

First of all, remove from the desktop:

- cute figurines;

- postcards and photo frames;

- entertainment magazines, books and catalogs, if you do not need them for work;

- notes with phone numbers and other data.

Rewrite the information from the leaflets in the diary beforehand.

Only the necessary documents and a diary with stationery should remain on the table - nothing more. For the latter, of course, you need to purchase a special pencil case or glass so that they are within a radius of direct access and are not scattered all over the table. And documents fit perfectly into special extensions, which are easy to find in any stationery store.

Organization of the working atmosphere

The last step in improving your own performance is creating the right workplace atmosphere. No radio, movies, bright posters, distracting attention, and other tinsel. You need to work at work and only then will there be an opportunity to achieve some success in the chosen field of activity. Ideally, if your work is not connected to the global network, the Internet should also be turned off during working hours, this will also add at least an hour of working time per day to you.
