Step 1
To calculate your seniority, you need to analyze your periods of work. The periods of activity are calculated in a calendar order based on full months and a full year.
Step 2
To calculate seniority, you need to calculate the total number of days in all periods of work. Then we determine the number of months in all periods of work. To do this, we divide the total number of days by 30. If in the end the number turns out to be fractional, then we take only an integer as a basis. For example, the length of service was 2945 days. Divide by 30, it turns out 98, 17 months. Since we take only an integer as a basis, the full experience is 98 months.
Step 3
We also count the length of service in years: divide 98 by 12 and get 8, 17 years. Again, we take an integer as a basis, which means that our work experience is 8 full years.
