Do not believe those who say that it is impossible for a foreigner to find a decent job in Europe. If you are confident in your knowledge, are ready to get down to business wisely and put a lot of effort, you can make your dream come true and go to work in one of the European countries.
Instructions
Step 1
Take care of the necessary documents: a valid international passport, birth certificate, educational diploma, an extract from the work record book, police clearance and health certificate. All documents must be translated into a foreign language and certified by a notary or at the embassy of the country where you plan to go to work.
Step 2
Prepare a resume (Curriculum Vitae, or CV). Be sure to clarify what are the requirements for this document in the country where you plan to leave. For example, in some countries the employer wants to find out from the resume about the applicant's marital status, while in other countries this item on the resume is optional.
Step 3
If you are a student, you can go to work in another country as part of one of the student programs, for example, Aupair. This is an opportunity to spend a year in a European country, living with a family and helping to take care of children or doing simple housework, receiving pocket money for this (approximately 200 - 500 euros). Young people aged 18-25 with basic language skills can participate in the program. To confirm the level of language proficiency, you need to pass a special qualification exam.
Step 4
Seasonal work is an easy way to visit Europe, look around and consider further employment opportunities. Seasonal work often requires neither qualifications nor knowledge of the language. You can get a job as a waiter or a handyman during the peak tourist season. If you apply for a visa for a longer period than the term of the work contract, then it will be possible to stay in the country and find another job.
Step 5
When looking for a job on your own, keep in mind a few important points: recommendations from your previous job significantly increase your chances of finding a new job, and preliminary preparation for an interview will distinguish you from other job seekers. You can prepare a small but meaningful story about yourself in advance. In just two or three sentences, tell about your strengths and opportunities, it will make an impression on the future employer.
