The development of a design project for a residential building, apartment or office space includes several stages. Each stage of the creative process requires special knowledge and skills, and sometimes the involvement of specialists in the field of architecture, interior design and graphics. Step 1
Clarify the requirements that the customer has for the future project. The design project of a living space should take into account the nature of its owner and the individual characteristics of family members. Find out the customer's preferences regarding the general design style, colors and design features of the interior.
Step 2
Complete the planning part of the design project. Interior design includes measurements of the object, analysis of the usable area and the allocation of functional areas, the development of several planning options with the arrangement of equipment and furniture. The planning ends with the creation of a package of working documentation, which may imply a significant redevelopment of the object.
Step 3
Move on to creating an interior design. This stage of work on a project is also called style. Develop several design options for different areas of the facility, taking into account the customer's requirements and ergonomic parameters. Most likely, you will need to discuss each option in detail with the customer.
Step 4
After choosing the final solution, make a detailed study of the sketch of the object and submit it for approval to the customer. The stylistic stage is considered complete if a volumetric modeling of zones and individual rooms has been made and a principled approach to interior decoration has been developed.
Step 5
In the last step, prepare the detailed working documentation required for the implementation of the project. This stage is called technological. It includes floor and ceiling plans, a plan for the placement of electrical equipment and all communications (including water supply, sewerage, ventilation and air conditioning). The technological description of the project is accompanied by drawings of individual elements of the object, as well as a list of building and finishing materials.
Step 6
Submit the finished design project for final approval to the customer. Agree on all necessary changes in the layout of the facility. If the project meets all the requirements for it, the work can be considered completed.
